Following a lengthy rant-mail from myself to Sidekick Associate (long-time readers will remember him), Sidekick Associate pointed out that I should just move to Cali and practice law at his firm.

So let's review the pros:

1) He was my heterosexual lifemate for a couple of good years (see above).
2) I might actually get to occasionally see other Cali-located friends from time to time (you know who you are!).
3) There's beaches there.

Now let's review the cons:

1) I don't want to take the Cali bar.
2) I don't want my cost of living to shoot through the roof.
3) I don't want to work coast-hours (East or West) in a firm - I'm happy with my relatively easy annual hour requirement here in BlissVille.
4) I *really*, *really* hate his chick (again, long-time readers will remember that, in a bizarre twist of fate, he wound up with Bliss' mortal nemesis, Video Store Paralegal).

So, like everything else, I'll just leave it to a coin-flip.
